被誉为奥斯卡金像奖风向球的金球奖，日前揭晓第75届入围名单，电影类由夺得本届威尼斯影展金狮奖的《水底情深》（The Shape of Water），以最佳导演、戏剧类最佳电影、最佳女主角等7项入围拔得头筹，史蒂芬史匹柏（Steven Spielberg）执导的《邮报：密战》（The Post）与马丁麦多纳（Martin McDonagh）执导的（Martin McDonagh）《意外》（Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri）也分别获得了包括戏剧类最佳电影在内的6项提名，紧追在后。
至于在影评网站《烂番茄》（Rotten Tomatoes）超越了1999年《玩具总动员2》及2008年《偷天钢索人》的纪录，获得满分新鲜度的《淑女鸟》（Lady Bird），这次则是获得了4项提名。
而值得一提的是，导演雷利史考特（Ridley Scott）决定换角重拍的《金钱世界》（All the Money in the World），剧组11月29日才于欧洲杀青完成重拍作业，虽然错过了广播影评人协会、洛杉矶影评人协会等多个奖项的评审看片和投票时间，但导演把主力放在金球奖上，于12月4日快手完成初剪版本，并在纽约为金球奖评审群好莱坞外国记者协会（The Hollywood Foreign Press Association，HFPA）举行第一场，也是目前唯一的放映，正好赶上金球奖7日的投票截止日，即使是初剪版，剧组的表现也赢得评审的赞赏，获得了最佳戏剧类女主角、最佳导演及最佳男配角3项入围，这次拍戏9天便获提名的奥斯卡得主克里斯多夫普拉玛（Christopher Plummer），所替补的角色便是身陷丑闻的凯文史贝西（Kevin Spacey）原本饰演的美国钜富尚保罗盖提。
金球奖颁奖典礼将于台湾时间2018年1月8日上午在美国洛杉矶比佛利希尔顿饭店（Beverly Hilton）举行，由《赛斯梅尔深夜脱口秀》（Late Night with Seth Meyers）主持人赛斯梅尔（Seth Meyers）担任本次的典礼主持工作。
