美国经济学家“末日博士”Nouriel Roubini，昨日 (8) 于推特表示：“加密货币比北朝鲜还要中心化”。
纽约大学教授 Nouriel Roubini 向来发言极端，过去曾预言 2008 年经济危机，近来则有对加密货币的诸多质疑。
在昨日的推特上，Roubini 表示：
加密货币去中心化是一个神话。这是一个比朝鲜更中心化的系统：矿工是中心化的、交易所是中心化的、开发者是中心化的独裁者 (Buterin 是终身独裁者) 。还有比特币的吉尼不等式系数比北朝鲜还糟。
注：Buterin 指以太坊创办人 Vitalik Buterin ; 吉尼系数用于表示所得分配的平均度。

在这则贴文之后不久，再度发言强调比特币的分配不平均比北朝鲜还糟，是世上最糟的不平等。Roubini 甚至表示：
加密货币因其中心化与分配不均，击败了金正恩。

Nouriel Roubini 就曾对区块链、加密货币提出质疑，今年八月在区块链峰会 BlockShow 上，他曾表示：“加密货币一切皆空、区块链没必要。”与不同专家有精彩激辩。
Vitalik 正面回应
对于批判总是有问必答的以太坊创办人，则回应 Nouriel Roubini：
我不认为这是一个公平的表述。如果你更深入地了解以太坊治理的实际过程，你会发现虽然技术精英确实存在 (其他加密货币也是一样)。我的参与并不如表面所见的关键。
I don't think that's a fair characterization; if you look more deeply at the actual processes of ethereum governance you'll find that while a technical elite does exist (as in all cryptocurrencies), my own involvement is much less pivotal than it seems from the outside.

至于加密货币的吉尼系数，Vitalik 不否认这是个问题，但认为高数值的吉尼系数是误导所致，并非事实。
Vitalik 表示，加密货币的分配不均，同时也包括对加密货币的“兴趣”不均。他举例拥有大提琴人口的吉尼系数必定也很高，但这不代表大提琴是只属于权贵的。
对于中心化的矿工、交易所、开发者的中心化，Vitalik 也表示他们正在积极的开发不同方式来减缓这些现象。例如：去中心化交易所、权益证明等。
